We are in the middle of a spiritual war disguised as physical battle. And I think it cannot be emphasised often enough: Everything that occurs in the visible, physical world is directly connected to the invisible, spiritual world (occult = hidden). Our biggest problems are spiritually rooted.
This is also the context in which the weapons of Hindu gods and goddesses can be seen. Highly symbolic. Ancient texts of India describe in detail the types of battles and duties, such as protection from internal threats as well as external aggressions against humans’ liberty.
The bible describes it as well: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” – Ephesians 6:12, KJV
AND unless we embody and utilise our inherent divine weapons, we are ill-equipped and underpowered.
We have to be anchored in our divine essence and connection. We win the battles only from standing in our position in god / supreme source. And when aligning our thoughts, words and actions to Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith and Liberation. (described in Ephesians 6:10-20).
Our spiritual armor consists of wearing the belt of TRUTH (willpower), the helmet of SALVATION (protecting your mind from doubts and temptations) and the breastplate of RIGHTEOUSNESS (to protect your heart, emotions, self-worth). Holding the sword of SPIRIT (discernment and forgiveness) and shield of FAITH (protection from fiery arrows, insults and setbacks). And walking in GROUNDING boots (spreading peace and leaving an inspiring trail for others). Add to this prayers and invocations aligned to divine order.
“Therefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” – Ephesians 6:13, KJV
